Scott Ramminger: Rise Up

Leading his quintet, Scott Raminger plays like a Texas Tenor and sings like a street preacher on this collection of originals with Wes Launch/keys, Shane Theriot/g, Paul Langosch/b and Emre Kartari/dr. he shows he can sing and play the blues as the band shuffles through “Thinking About You” and his horn blows out a slinky “The Feeling When I’m Falling” with lots of fun emitting from Ramminger’s stories, both here and on the funky “Rise Up.” Lanich gets gospel rich for “ Daisy” and cozy on “All Done” with the team travelling uptown for the high class “Ice Cream.” Good for toe tappers and knee slappers.

Since 1988 Kari-On Productions has helped artists get an even footing in the industry through jazz promotion in the genres of Jazz, World & Latin Jazz through Jazz Radio and Publicity. Why do we do both, because they compliment each other, and we care about fiscal longevity for the artist.
