Live from The Firehouse Stage is a truly outstanding live recording from the virtuoso quintet Five Play. The latest production of the unit is fantastic from start to finish. The mostly-original songs album draws you right in with its wonderful sound, compositions and performances. The all-women band is comprised of Sherrie Maricle on drums, Tomoko Ohno on piano, Noriko Ueda on bass, Jami Dauber on trumpet and flugelhorn and Janelle Reichman on tenor saxophone and clarinet. The level of musical camaraderie and musicianship definitely contributes to the tremendous quality of this effort. This is one that is thoroughly enjoyable.

Since 1988 Kari-On Productions has helped artists get an even footing in the industry through jazz promotion in the genres of Jazz, World & Latin Jazz through Jazz Radio and Publicity. Why do we do both, because they compliment each other, and we care about fiscal longevity for the artist.
