3D Jazz Trio – Christmas In 3D

O’s Notes: The 3D Jazz Trio is the rhythm section of the Diva Jazz Orchestra with pianist Jackie Warren, bassist Amy Shook and Sherie Maricle on drums. They follow up I’d Love to See You Smile with some Holiday cheer. They sample several genres with a little country on “Please Daddy”, calypso for “Up on the Housetop” and “O Christmas Tree”. But it’s mostly swinging, jazzy classics as on “White Christmas”, “Greensleeves” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. We enjoyed Christmas in 3D.
