Jeff Reed – Look For The Light

Jeff Reed

O’s Notes: Bassist Jeff Reed leads a quintet on a collection of nine tunes including four originals. They open with the upbeat “Segment” setting the stage for many more cool selections to follow. We liked “Tricotism”, a taste of fusion on “Conversion” and the relaxing title track featuring guitarist Jonathan Epley. Trumpeter Sean Jones takes the lead on “Quasimodo” before Epley is back on the mark for the finale, “Your Name Never Came Up”. The album was inspired by the full circle of life. Reed and his team do a fine job!

Since 1988 Kari-On Productions has helped artists get an even footing in the industry through jazz promotion in the genres of Jazz, World & Latin Jazz through Jazz Radio and Publicity. Why do we do both, because they compliment each other, and we care about fiscal longevity for the artist.
