Lizzie Thomas

Lizzie Thomas        –       New Sounds From The Jazz Age

O’s Notes: New York-based vocalist Lizzie Thomas has a resounding, strong voice that is a passionate vehicle for delivering music from the American Songbooks. New Sounds From the Jazz Age is her latest recording and it bodes well. She doesn’t miss a beat on “One Note Samba” and is deeply romantic on “Our Love Is Here To Stay”. We also enjoyed “Fascinating Rhythm” and “Cheek to Cheek”. Musical director, arranger and pianist John Colianni does a fine job with a strong team that includes Omar Daniels (t-sax, fl) and guests Russell Malone (g) and Jay Leonhart (b). Lizzie delivers continuous, cool, collective entertainment.

Since 1988 Kari-On Productions has helped artists get an even footing in the industry through jazz promotion in the genres of Jazz, World & Latin Jazz through Jazz Radio and Publicity. Why do we do both, because they compliment each other, and we care about fiscal longevity for the artist.
